The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced full stack developer, based in Mexico, to work fully remotely. The software development team focuses on designing and developing software products that facilitate all key operational and business information to our clients through the fast development and deployment of software features.

The Team

You will join a team of software experts with a variety of core competencies. This division is made up of two collaborative teams: Wellsite Application and Cloud Platform. Both operate interdependently with a shared goal, to develop the best-in-class software products for our customers. This role is in the Wellsite Application Team.

Responsibilities

Development – Throughout the software development cycle you will apply your skills to design, develop, and test, while continuously support and enhance the existing products. The team follows Agile methodology and scrum practices.

Requirements Analysis – You work closely with our product team to understand user requirements and translate them into algorithm and technical design to be implemented.

Technical Analysis – You foster technical discussions with the team to find the best possible solution within the available time. Create and maintain application and workflow documentation.

Think Outside the Box – We welcome and encourage new ideas and approaches for solving problems. You will exert your passion and thinking to shape the technical direction of our products using the most effective programming languages, frameworks, and technologies. Identify and keep up-to-date of new technical concepts in your field.

Knowledge and experience

Required Qualifications

– Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in developing Software Systems with JavaScript

– Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience in developing Software Systems with React/Node

– Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable experience in developing with Python, Go or other than JS.

– Proficient level of Programming Languages: JavaScript and Python

– Proficient level of React.js, Node.js, socket.io, Electron, HTML, CSS.

– Proficient level of Redis, MySQL and MongoDB.

– Experience with graphical libraries such as D3, P5, Konva, etc.

– Experience with Git and GitLab.

– Experience with Docker and DevOps.

– Studies in engineering, computer science or other technical related field.

 Preferred Qualifications

– Language – The company language is English. An advanced level of written and spoken English is required. Spanish is a plus.

– Work permit – Able to work in Mexico.
