About us
Digitizing the Oilfield from the bottom up
dipoleDIGITAL was founded in January of 2019 by Manuel Bobadilla, Chad Thames, and Tanner Taylor, a team of technological and operational domain experts who wanted to improve how things are being done in the oilfield and help modernize the industry.
With more than 18 years of combined experience in the Oil and Gas industry (primarily specializing in hydraulic fracturing operations and the technology that enables them), our founders decided to start dipoleDIGITAL as a company dedicated to developing Oil and Gas software products. The founding team believed (and still does today) that by building a great place to work with an enthusiastic and passionate team driven to succeed, dipoleDIGITAL could be the company that succeed in digitally transforming the industry when so many others have failed.
Today, dipoleDIGITAL builds solutions that digitize the end-to-end operation of well completions and orchestrate the complex surface operation. We made the Dipole Wellsite Vision platform to unify all the services and processes on completions wellsites, regardless of the service provider. This platform, combined with our cloud offering, will put the operation and management of completions operations at the industry’s fingertips.
OUR TEAMS
Software Development
Our software development division is structured as two collaborative teams: Wellsite Application and Cloud Platform. Both teams work interdependently with the same goal to develop the best-in-class software product for our customers.
Product and Marketing
This team is responsible for our product offerings and the marketing effort. With user experience as our priority, we imagine, develop, and implement new features and new products that will best serve our customer’s needs. It is the key to ensure that the sales efforts are aligned and work efficiently to generate and close opportunities.
Commercial, Field Operations and Deployment
The team oversees everything customer, from field operations to the deployment of our products with a primary focus on customers’ satisfaction. The goal is to ensure a smooth delivery of our products from the time they leave our software house to the moment they are in the hand of our customers on location.
Talent and Culture
Since our beginnings in the Oil and Gas industry, we have imagined better ways to do things: faster, safer, and with greater throughput in productivity. We think in every detail required to make things better and draw a plan to develop them.
Administration
As soon as every requirement and step is on paper, we start the development process: constantly focusing on the latest and most efficient technologies and materials to bring to life our aims.
Operations
We test our developments in the field, always focusing on measuring impacts on our improvement hypothesis. Once we refine the implementation and confirm it as a real improvement to operations and business economics, we perform a general deployment to the field.
